Description
USA “imported taxes” are a form of customs duty, or tariff, collected by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on goods brought into the U.S. from other countries. The rates vary based on the product’s Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) code, the country of origin, and the value of the shipment. There’s a minimum value threshold of $800 for duty-free personal imports (Now it was removed) but most commercial goods are subject to duties and other processing fees, such as the Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF).
